Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Drain the cherries and save the juice from only one can. In a saucepan stir the juice into the combined mix of cornstarch or tapioca and sugar. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat. Gently stir in cherries, salt and almond extract. Pour into crust. Break off pea sized pieces of the butter and spread evenly over the pie filling. Put on and vent top crust. Bake at 400 degrees 30-40 min.until crust browns and it bubbles- let it cool.

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup sugar together into a bowl. Add milk and melted shortening; stir only until smooth. Spread evenly in greased 8x8x2-inch pan. Arrange cherries over top. In a saucepan bring cherry juice, sugar and butter to a boil and pour over cherries. Bake in 375 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
Heat oven to 350-degrees. In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars. Add egg, water and extract. Mix in flour and salt. Stir in oats, cherries and chocolate chips. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes. Makes 18 cookies.
Mix pumpkin and spices together. Add remaining filling ingredients. Mix slowly, until thoroughly mixed. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes then reduce temperature to 350 degrees for an additional 35-40 minutes. Cool on rack.
Preheat oven to 35o degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour two 9x5-inch loaf pans. Combine flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Combine sugar, pumpkin, eggs, coconut oil, and orange juice in a larger mixer bowl; beat until blended. Add pumpkin mixture to flour mixture; stir until just moistened. Fold in cherries & pumpkin seeds. Spoon batter into prepared loaf pans. Bake for 60 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes.
In a salad bowl, combine bell peppers, onion, corn kernels, tomato, garlic and cilantro and toss to mix. Add olive oil, vinegar, lime juice and salt and pepper to taste and toss again. Add black beans and mix well.
Sautee bacon and drain- reserve. Combine all ingredients except cheese and bacon. Layer cheese and bacon on top of bean mixture. Serve with favorite chips, pita or bread.
Mix all ingredients and serve with your favorite chips.
Stir all ingredients together. Cook on high stirring occasionally until bubbling then reduce heat to low and cover pot. Continue to stir regularly to prevent burning. Cook to desired thickness. Let cool and add a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of lemon juice.
Combine flour, oatmeal, cinnamon, brown sugar and butter. Press 1/2 of the mixture into a 9x13 baking pan. Set the remaining aside for later use. Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and vanilla until thick. Add peaches and blueberries. Spread fruit mixture over crumbs in pan. Top with remaining 1/2 of crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Top with whipped cream or ice cream upon serving.
Preheat oven to 500º Fahrenheit. Place tenderloin in roasting pan coated with 2 tsp olive oil. Turn tenderloin to coat with oil. Season all sides of tenderloin with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Top tenderloin with pie filling. Place roasting pan in 500º oven and bring back to full 500º. Immediately reduce heat to 350º and roast 30-40 minutes or until meat registers 165º in the thickest part. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil in large skillet until it sizzles. Add bell peppers, onion, corn, beans and seasonings and saute, stirring occasionally until onion is translucent. Remove from heat and stir in tomato. Preheat oven to 500º. In roasting pan place 1 tbsp. olive oil. Roll pork tenderloin in olive oil in roasting pan until well coated. Season pork with salt and pepper on all sides. Spoon vegetable mixture over meat and place in the oven. Return oven to 500º then immediately reduce heat to 325º. Roast tenderloin for 30 to 40 minutes or until it registers 165º on meat thermometer. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
